Play Road Rash on GBC Online

Road Rash on GBC is basically a bar fight disguised as a racing game—just with motorcycles and pixelated road rash. You’ll spend as much time punching the guy next to you as you will trying to stay upright, and somehow, the tiny Game Boy Color screen makes it even more ridiculous (in the best way).

The controls are surprisingly solid for a handheld port—no weird lag when you swing a punch mid-turn—and the soundtrack has that crunchy, compressed charm only the GBC could pull off. Yeah, it’s missing the FMV cutscenes from the console versions, but who cares when you’re busy dodging cops and kicking someone’s bike into oncoming traffic?

It’s chaotic, it’s janky in places, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’ve ever wanted to win a race by shoving your opponent into a ditch, this is your game.
