Game Overview

Rokumon Tengai Mon-Colle-Knight GB is one of those weird little Game Boy Color RPGs that somehow makes monster-collecting feel new again. Instead of just throwing creatures into battles, you're basically assembling a team of tiny armored knights—some ride dragons, others wield swords, and they all have this chunky, colorful pixel art that gives the game so much personality.

At first, I thought it was just another Pokémon clone, but the combat's got more strategy than you'd expect. Different knights combo well together, and some of their special moves are downright hilarious (one of mine kept summoning a giant floating radish to attack). The menus are all in Japanese, but after a few fights, you start recognizing icons and figuring things out through trial and error.

It’s got that classic "one more battle" hook, especially when you stumble on a new knight design you haven’t seen before. Definitely worth digging up if you’re into obscure retro RPGs with charm to spare.
