RPG Tsukuru DS+ came out for the Nintendo DS in 2005, published by Enterbrain. You control a custom hero through a world you design yourself, placing towns, forests, and dungeons tile by tile. The main goal is to create a complete, playable RPG from scratch, writing dialogue for characters and scripting events. Signature mechanics include drawing maps directly on the touch screen, setting enemy encounters, and designing turn-based battles with basic stats. The pacing is entirely up to you; it's more about creation than challenge. It feels like sketching out a rough, personal story that you can actually walk through.
