Play Safe Opening Simulator Online

Twist a creaky dial by keyboard, holding your breath for those tiny clicks—then that sweet moment when the vault door groans open. It’s spreadsheets-but-tense, and weirdly hard to quit.

Game Overview

Safe Opening Simulator is one of those weirdly specific DOS games that shouldn’t be fun but totally is. You’re basically a safecracker—minus the jail time—listening for faint clicks as you spin a clunky dial with keyboard controls. The graphics are about as exciting as a spreadsheet, but there’s something weirdly tense about nudging that dial millimeter by millimeter, waiting for the lock to give.

At first, I kept overshooting the combinations, but after a few failed attempts (and one accidental vault lockdown), I started getting the hang of the rhythm. The sound design does a lot of heavy lifting here—those tiny metallic clicks when you hit the right number are stupidly satisfying. And when the door finally swings open? Pure pixelated dopamine.

It’s like the digital version of fidgeting with a padlock, except you occasionally find fake money inside. If you’ve ever wasted an hour obsessively picking a lock in Skyrim, this’ll scratch that same itch. Just don’t blame me when you catch yourself muttering “come on, just one more…” at 2 AM.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
