Game Overview

Sea Hunt was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled several titles from the early PC gaming era. Developed by Sierra On-Line, it was a straightforward action game that fit right in with the simpler, more focused experiences common on the platform at the time. It didn't try to be an epic; it was just a tight, challenging dive into underwater danger.

You pilot a small submarine through a series of side-scrolling screens, navigating narrow passages and open waters filled with mines, enemy divers, and occasional sea creatures. Your main goal is to collect treasure chests scattered across the seafloor while avoiding hazards that can destroy your sub in one hit. The game relies on careful movement and precise timing; you must often wait for mines to drift out of the way or lure enemy divers into swimming into obstacles. The pacing is tense, especially in later stages where hazards multiply and mistakes are costly. It feels like a test of patience and control, where every successful treasure grab is a small victory.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
