The controls take a minute to get used to—dribbling feels a little stiff at first—but once you nail that first three-pointer or pull off a ridiculous dunk, it clicks. The anime-style cutscenes between plays are pure 90s nostalgia, and the announcer’s overly enthusiastic Japanese commentary somehow makes every basket feel like a championship win. Just don’t expect NBA-level realism—this is all about the over-the-top energy of the manga. The Shohoku team’s theme still gets stuck in my head.
