The main objective is to race through seven vibrant zones, defeating Robotnik at the end of each. The game emphasizes fast, momentum based platforming, with loops, corkscrews, and multi path levels encouraging replayability. It maintains a brisk pace, though some later stages demand precise jumps and quick reactions. Hitting those loops at full speed still feels amazing.
