SRS: Street Racing Syndicate came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by Eutechnyx. It was part of that wave of handheld racers trying to capture the tuner culture craze, a smaller, portable take on the street racing games that were popular on consoles at the time.
You control a street racer building a reputation from the bottom up. The main objective is to win races, earn cash, and upgrade your car to take on faster rivals. Signature mechanics include betting your own money on races for higher rewards, and a nitrous boost system for crucial bursts of speed. The pacing is fairly quick, with a steady difficulty curve that pushes you to keep improving your car. It feels like a solid, compact racing challenge you can carry in your pocket.
