Game Overview

Star Command: Revolution came out in 1997 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by GT Interactive Software Corp. It was a space strategy game from that era when complex simulations and deep resource management were common, and it fit right in with the kind of thoughtful, demanding titles people expected from the platform.

You control a small fleet of ships, starting with basic vessels, and your main goal is to build up your forces while exploring star systems and engaging hostile Narvek patrols. The game involves managing ship resources, upgrading weapons and defenses, and navigating tactical combat where positioning and timing are critical. The pacing is tense; battles are often desperate scrambles where a single mistake can leave your ships disabled or destroyed. It feels like a constant, high-stakes struggle for survival in the void.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
