If you grew up watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and thought you knew everything about the Enterprise-D, this old-school MS-DOS trivia game will either prove you right or humble you fast. Three volumes of 100 questions each—some painfully obscure, some obvious if you’ve seen "The Best of Both Worlds" a dozen times. The first one was shareware, the others paid, and honestly, the difficulty spikes weirdly between them.

Fun fact: Apogee (yes, the Duke Nukem guys) originally put this out without Paramount’s permission. When they got caught, instead of paying for a license, they just dumped the whole thing into public domain. So now it’s this weird little piece of Trek history—kinda janky, full of ’90s trivia game charm, and weirdly specific about Riker’s love life. If you find a copy, it’s worth a nostalgia trip, but good luck explaining the $100 source code option to anyone.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
