Street Sports Baseball came out in 1987 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from Epyx. It was a time when sports games were starting to branch out from pure simulation, and this one leaned into a more exaggerated, arcade style of play that felt right at home on a PC.

You control a full team of cartoonish players, batting and fielding in a simplified but energetic version of baseball. The main objective is to outscore your opponent, inning by inning. Key mechanics include timing your swing for power hits that send the ball soaring and controlling base runners with quick, directional dashes to steal or advance. The game moves fast, with a focus on action over strategy, and the difficulty comes from the tight timing windows for hitting and the AI's aggressive base running. It feels like a quick, chaotic sandlot game where every play is a burst of motion.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
