Download Strikers 1945 2 (J) ROM – SEGA Saturn Game

Dodge waves of bullets in a WWII fighter, picking your plane carefully—that P-38 spread shot helps when the screen fills with lasers. The Saturn version nails that arcade feel, right down to the brutal-but-fair difficulty spike.

Game Overview

Strikers 1945 2 on the Sega Saturn is one of those classic shoot 'em ups that just feels right. You pick from a handful of WWII-era planes—each with their own quirks—and dive straight into bullet-hell chaos. The first level lulls you in with some basic enemy waves, but by the time you hit the first boss, the screen’s practically covered in lasers and explosions.

It’s a sequel, so everything’s a bit sharper than the original—smoother sprites, tighter controls, and some wild new power-ups. I always go for the P-38 Lightning because its spread shot makes dodging a little less brutal, but good luck surviving the later stages either way. The Saturn port holds up surprisingly well, even if the difficulty might make you sweat.

If you miss the days when arcade shooters were punishing but fair, this one’s a solid time capsule.
