The level designs are remixed in ways that make you rethink familiar layouts, sometimes for better, sometimes worse. There's one section early on where you have to bounce off a bunch of enemies in a row, and the timing feels just slightly tighter than it should be. But when you pull it off, it's satisfying.

Some of the power-ups are swapped out, and not all of them work perfectly—I got stuck in a wall after grabbing one that was clearly not playtested enough. Still, there's something charming about seeing Toad stumble through these hacked-together levels. It's rough, but in a way that makes you want to keep pushing through.
