You know Super Mario World inside out? Good—now try landing jumps that feel just wrong enough to mess with your muscle memory, or finding warp pipes that drop you into levels that shouldn’t exist. Still feels like Mario, just... sideways.

Game Overview

Ever boot up Super Mario World and think, "Wait, was this level always here?" That’s the vibe of this weird little SNES oddity—whether it’s a prototype, a ROM hack, or some developer’s secret experiment. The colors and sounds are pure Mario, but then you’ll hit a jump that feels slightly off, or stumble into a warp pipe that dumps you somewhere completely new. Found a level with upside-down Goombas once and just stared at the screen for a solid minute.

It’s got all the usual stuff—Yoshi, spin jumps, those satisfying *boing* sounds when you bounce on enemies—but twisted just enough to keep you guessing. Not for purists, but if you’ve 100%’d the original and still want more, this’ll scratch that itch. I mean, where else are you gonna ride a blue Yoshi through a ghost house that wasn’t in the manual?
