Play Super Mario Worldwide 2 Online
Mario controls just right—until you hit those wild new power-ups and hidden paths that flip the script. Some secret exits feel downright cruel, like bouncing off invisible blocks mid-air while clinging to Yoshi.

Game Overview
"Super Mario Worldwide 2" is one of those fan-made SNES games that somehow nails the exact feel of an official Mario title. The first thing you'll notice is how crisp the movement is—Mario's jumps and spins have that perfect weight, just like the original. But then you start spotting the new stuff: weird little mushroom power-ups that do things Nintendo never tried, hidden paths that lead to entirely different level layouts, and these bizarre new enemies that look like Koopas got mixed up in a science experiment.
I spent way too long trying to 100% it because some of the secret exits are absolutely brutal to find. There's this one level where you have to bounce off a series of hidden blocks mid-air while riding Yoshi, and I swear the designer was laughing while making it. But even when it's punishing, it never feels unfair—just old-school tough in the best way.
If you've played Super Mario World to death and still crave more, this is basically someone's love letter to that era, with enough fresh ideas to feel new. The music even has those same bouncy SNES synths, but with a few new tracks that somehow don't feel out of place. It's the closest thing to discovering a lost Mario sequel in your attic.
