You tilt the entire stage to roll these little monkeys in transparent balls toward the goal—sounds simple, right? Then you hit a narrow bridge or a sudden drop, and suddenly you're gripping the controller like it owes you money.

The physics are just floaty enough to make every turn feel risky, but once you get the hang of it, pulling off a perfect run is weirdly satisfying. There’s something about watching AiAi (the red monkey, obviously) wobble precariously near the edge that never gets old. And if you mess up? Well, at least the monkeys scream dramatically as they plummet into the void.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll yell “one more try” at 2 AM, even though your hands are cramping. The party modes are chaotic fun too—especially Monkey Target, where you launch your ball off a ramp and try not to faceplant into the ocean. Classic GameCube nonsense, honestly.
