Game Overview

Super Noah's Ark 3-D came out in 1994 for MS-DOS, published by Wisdom Tree, a company known for its religious-themed games. It arrived during the era when first-person shooters were just starting to define themselves, and it borrowed heavily from the engine and style of Wolfenstein 3D, though with a very different setting and purpose.

You control Noah, moving through a series of enclosed, maze-like levels viewed from a first-person perspective. Your main goal is to rescue the animals by finding them scattered throughout each stage, all while fending off enemies like unruly pigs and even Satan himself with a slingshot. The gameplay involves screen-by-screen exploration, collecting animal icons and food items to restore health, and engaging in simple, repetitive combat. The pacing is slow due to blocky movement and limited interaction, and the difficulty can feel uneven, sometimes tedious. It feels like navigating a strange, low-budget sermon disguised as a video game.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
