Game Overview

Super Solvers: Gizmos & Gadgets is this weirdly addictive MS-DOS game where you basically out-engineer this smug villain named Morty Maxwell. You’re this faceless kid (seriously, no face—just a blank slate) running around warehouses solving physics puzzles to collect parts for vehicles. At first, you’re piecing together basic cars, but later you’re building wild stuff like solar-powered racers and makeshift planes.

The races start simple, but Morty cheats—badly. By the fifth race in each category (automotive, alternative energy, aircraft), you’re sweating over whether your hovercraft design has enough thrust or if your weird propeller-glider hybrid will even stay airborne. The puzzles are the real meat of it, though—some are obvious, others make you stare at the screen for way too long before the solution clicks. It’s one of those games where losing feels like your fault, not the game’s, so you keep tweaking your designs until they finally work.

Also, the soundtrack is an absolute banger for a DOS game. You’ll hum it for days.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
