Game Overview

Super Solvers Operation Neptune came out in 1995 as part of The Learning Company's MS-DOS lineup, a time when educational games were trying hard to be more than just digital worksheets. It fit right into that era where you had to boot from a floppy disk and manage limited system memory, but it stood out by wrapping its lessons in a genuine adventure shell.

You control a small submarine on a mission to recover stolen treasure from the villainous Morty Maxwell. The game plays out across a series of underwater screens, each presenting navigational hazards like mines or electric eels that you can only pass by solving math problems correctly. You're constantly managing your oxygen supply, which adds a layer of tension as you explore shipwrecks and coral caves for clues. The pacing is deliberate, forcing you to think under pressure, and it cleverly disguises its arithmetic drills as necessary survival skills. It feels like a real expedition where your brain is your most important piece of equipment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
