Super Star Wars on SNES throws you right into the action—you start as Luke blasting stormtroopers in Tatooine’s canyons, and before long you’re hopping between speeder bikes and dodging sandcrawler fire. The pixel art nails the movie’s vibe, especially the Death Star trench run (though good luck nailing those tight turns).
Some levels switch things up—like the landspeeder chase where you’re weaving through rocks at full tilt, or the X-wing sections that feel like a mini Star Fox. The difficulty’s brutal in that classic 16-bit way, but nailing a perfect run with the lightsaber (yes, you get it eventually) is stupidly satisfying. Just don’t expect the Ewoks to show up.
