Superior Soldiers throws you into a gritty 2D fighter where the world’s basically gone to hell after some weird energy storm wiped out most of humanity. The survivors? They’re not exactly human anymore—more like mutants, cyborgs, and warriors who’ve adapted in seriously messed-up ways.

You’ve got a wild roster to pick from, like Starsaber with his glowing sword, Cattydox (who fights like she’s got springs in her legs), or Meltdown, this half-machine guy who looks like he’s about to explode mid-combo. I went with Busido the samurai at first—his charging slash feels brutal when you land it right.

Fights are fast, best two out of three, and every character’s got their own rhythm. Reptilian’s all about weird, slithery strikes, while Arabian Moon’s kicks come out stupidly quick. Eventually, you’ll face Skull Reaper, who’s basically the final boss nightmare fuel. Grab a friend if you want, because nothing beats the chaos of two players button-mashing their way through post-apocalyptic brawls.
