Game Overview

If you ever watched The Crystal Maze back in the '90s, this MS-DOS version nails the vibe—right down to the frantic shouting at the screen when someone takes too long in a puzzle room. You pick a team of six (good luck not just going with the weirdest-looking characters) and dive into four zones: Ocean, Aztec, Medieval, and Futuristic. Each one’s packed with mini-games that’ll either make you feel like a genius or leave you staring at the keyboard wondering how you messed up a simple lever puzzle.

The real tension kicks in when you’re racing against the clock—every crystal you grab buys you a few extra seconds for the final madness in the Crystal Dome. That’s where things get properly chaotic, with gold tokens flying everywhere while your team scrambles like they’re being chased by an invisible Richard O’Brien. It’s clunky in that classic DOS way, but somehow that just adds to the charm.

Honestly, half the fun is watching your team fail spectacularly at the physical challenges while you yell at the monitor. Still holds up if you’re into that mix of nostalgia and mild frustration.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
