Game Overview

Remember that old-school MS-DOS era when every movie got turned into a game? The Neverending Story II: The Arcade Game was one of the better ones—you play as Bastian jumping through these colorful, slightly janky platformer levels straight out of the film. Giants lumber around, some you dodge, others you knock over by hitting their weak spots (took me way too long to figure that out).

What I liked was how they mixed in the story—every few levels, you unlock these book pages that play out scenes from the movie. It’s not exactly smooth by today’s standards, but there’s something charming about how it all comes together. If you grew up with Fantasia or just love weird retro movie tie-ins, this one’s worth dusting off.

Just don’t expect tight controls—this is pure ’90s platforming, warts and all.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
