Play The Space Vegetable Corps Online

So The Space Vegetable Corps is this weird little MS-DOS gem where you play as some poor guy stuck on a moon, broke as hell, forced to babysit space veggies for cash. The year’s 2040, and apparently humanity’s big plan is turning every rock in the galaxy into a greenhouse. Your job? Keep the alien pests from wrecking the domes while harvesting enough mutant carrots (or whatever) to hit your daily quota.

You’ve got a jetpack, which sounds cool until you realize you’re mostly just flailing around trying to shoot flying space bugs before they steal entire domes. Mess up your aim, and the dome shatters on impact—oops, there goes your paycheck. Some aliens drop oxygen when they die, which is handy because running out means game over. The veggies grow in cycles, so you’re constantly darting back to grab them at just the right moment.

Three moons to grind through, each with escalating quotas. It’s oddly satisfying in a "why am I doing this" kind of way, especially when you sneak into the hi-scores as one of the top 10 galactic gardeners. Not bad for a gig that started as a clerical error.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
