Game Overview

Tomb Raider on Game Boy Color is one of those weird little miracles—somehow, they crammed Lara Croft’s globe-trotting, ruin-exploding antics into a tiny cartridge. No 3D polygons here, just solid 2D platforming where you’ll leap over spike pits, shimmy along ledges, and blast the occasional bat with those iconic dual pistols.

The puzzles are simpler than the PlayStation version, sure, but they still make you stop and think—like figuring out how to weigh down pressure plates or timing jumps just right. And yeah, the graphics are definitely "Game Boy Color," but there’s charm in those chunky pixels, especially when Lara does her little victory pose after grabbing an artifact.

If you’ve played the big console games, it’s fun seeing how they reworked the vibe into 2D. If you haven’t? It’s a surprisingly good way to meet classic Lara—before she got all cinematic. Just don’t expect to button-mash your way through; some of those jumps are brutal.
