Play Transformers - Autobots (EU) Online

Transformers: Autobots for the Nintendo DS came out in 2007, published by Activision. It was one of the tie-in games for the live-action movie, and it felt very much like a product of its time on the handheld, using both screens and offering a portable take on the franchise.

You choose an Autobot character and control them directly, driving through city streets to complete missions, fight Decepticons, and follow the movie's story. The main draw is the transformation mechanic; you swipe the touchscreen to instantly shift from robot to vehicle form, which changes how you move and fight. Combat is straightforward, relying on lock-on targeting and a mix of melee and ranged attacks. The game is mission-based and moderately paced, though the fixed camera angles can sometimes make navigation a bit awkward in enclosed areas. It feels like a solid, action-focused adaptation that makes good use of the DS hardware.
