Game Overview

I first played Tunnels & Trolls: Crusaders of Khazan back in the early 90s, a time when MS-DOS games were full of text and imagination. It was published by New World Computing, the same folks behind the Might and Magic series, and it fit right in with the era's dungeon crawlers. You didn't get flashy graphics, but you got a world that felt deep and a little unpredictable.

You control a party of adventurers, each with their own quirks and stats, and guide them through screen by screen exploration in a dangerous land. Your main goal is to survive the dungeon delves, fighting monsters with swords or bows, and hunting for treasure and keys. The combat uses a dice-based system that feels surprisingly tactical, and the game doesn't hold your hand, so every wrong turn can hurt. It's a slow, thoughtful crawl that makes every small victory matter.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
