Wario's World came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, developed and published by Nintendo. It was part of that late SNES era where developers were really pushing the hardware to its limits, creating games that felt bigger and weirder than what came before.

You control Wario, a greedy, muscular anti-hero, as he smashes through levels to reclaim his stolen treasure. The main goal is to find and defeat a boss in each stage, but getting there means breaking every block, flipping every switch, and pummeling every enemy in your path. Signature mechanics include his shoulder charge, which shatters certain walls and stuns foes, and his ground pound, used to squash enemies or activate platforms. The pacing is aggressive and constant; you are always moving, hitting, or hunting for secrets. It feels like being an unstoppable wrecking ball in a world made of breakable things.
