Worlds of Legend: Son of the Empire came out in 1993, published by Mindscape as part of their MS-DOS Classic Games line. It was one of those fantasy role-playing titles that quietly appeared on shelves alongside more famous names, offering a mix of exploration and tactical combat that felt right at home in the era of floppy disks and VGA graphics.

You control a party of four adventurers, each with distinct skills, navigating the world screen by screen. Your main goal is to defeat the evil sorcerer Malofex by gathering the scattered pieces of the Triforce-like Crystal of Truth. Combat is turn-based and unforgiving, requiring careful positioning and spell management, while the dungeons are filled with traps and secrets that reward patience. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
