Game Overview

Worms Disk1 came out for the Amiga in 1995, developed by Team17 and published by Ocean Software. You control a team of worms, taking turns with opponents to move across the landscape and fire an arsenal of ridiculous weapons, from bazookas to exploding sheep. The goal is simple: eliminate the other teams. The terrain is fully destructible, so every shot carves out craters and reshapes the battlefield. Matches are slow and thoughtful one moment, then erupt into frantic, unpredictable action the next. It feels like a board game that's constantly trying to blow itself up.
