Game Overview

Ah, Worms on MS-DOS—where tiny, heavily armed earthworms wage war with bazookas, grenades, and the occasional exploding sheep. I remember booting this up for the first time and laughing at how ridiculous it was to watch these little guys fling dynamite at each other while yelling in squeaky voices. The turn-based chaos means you’ve got time to line up your shots (or panic when your worm’s standing on a crumbling ledge).

The weapons are half the fun—banana bombs, airstrikes, even a holy hand grenade if you’re feeling biblical. And the terrain? One wrong move and your entire strategy collapses because someone blew up the ground beneath you. It’s stupidly addictive, especially with friends taking turns on the same keyboard. Just don’t get too attached to any one worm—they tend to explode.

Still holds up as one of the best ways to turn a slow afternoon into a battlefield of worm-based betrayal.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
