Game Overview

Worms: Reinforcements came out in 1995 as an expansion for the original Worms game on MS-DOS, published by Ocean Software Ltd. It arrived at a time when turn-based strategy games were gaining complexity, and this add-on gave players more tools to shape their own chaotic battles.

You control a team of worms, taking turns to move and attack the opposing team across destructible terrain. The main objective is to eliminate enemy worms using weapons like bazookas, grenades, and the infamous Holy Hand Grenade. Signature mechanics include a new map editor that lets you design custom battlefields, and additional voice packs that personalize your squad's taunts and reactions. The pacing remains methodical but unpredictable, with sudden reversals based on clever shots or environmental collapses. It feels like a sandbox of calculated mayhem where every decision matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
