Oh man, Worms on the Genesis was my jam back in the day. You get these little squishy worm teams taking turns blasting each other across destructible terrain with everything from bazookas to exploding sheep. The physics are just ridiculous in the best way—one wrong angle and your carefully aimed grenade might bounce right back at you.

What really makes it special is how no two matches play out the same. You’ll be scrambling to reposition after the ground collapses under you, or laughing when someone’s worm gets knocked into the water by a well-placed banana bomb. The weapons are equal parts creative and stupid (holy hand grenade, anyone?), and the turn-based pacing means you can take your time plotting revenge.

It’s chaotic, strategic, and way more fun with friends shouting at each other over who gets the jetpack next.
