Play Wrath of Earth Online

Wrath of Earth came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from SoftKey Multimedia. It was a time when a lot of sci-fi action games tried to blend exploration with resource management, and this one fit right into that niche without a lot of fuss.

You control a soldier in a damaged exosuit, stranded on an alien world. Your main goal is to survive long enough to repair your suit and find a way off the planet. You explore the environment screen by screen, rationing your suit's energy between movement, combat, and shielding. The plasma cannon is your primary weapon, but it can overheat if fired too rapidly, forcing you to time your shots or retreat. You also have to avoid environmental hazards like lava pits and toxic vents that drain your energy quickly. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty comes from managing your limited resources while enemies press in from all sides. It feels tense and calculated, where every decision to fight or flee has real consequences.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
