Game Overview

WWE WrestleMania XIX on GameCube takes everything that worked in X8 and cranks it up—more wrestlers, smoother moves, and way better customization. The story mode’s actually fun this time: you create your own wrestler and basically go to war with Vince McMahon’s empire. (Yeah, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.)

Spent way too much time tweaking my guy’s look and entrance—down to the pyro timing and music. Felt like a real WWE producer, except my wrestler had a neon green mohawk. The Shopzone’s a nice touch too—win matches, earn cash, and unlock new gear or even secret moves. Just don’t expect to afford the good stuff right away.

It’s still arcade-y, but the grappling feels weightier, and the reversals actually matter now. If you ever wanted to suplex Triple H through a table while The Rock trash-talks in the background, this is your game.
