Bad Blood came out in 1990 from Origin Systems, one of those MS-DOS games that felt ambitious for its time. It was a top-down action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world, blending sci-fi and fantasy in a way that wasn't too common back then. The graphics were detailed for the era, with a lot of screen-by-screen exploration that made the world feel large and dangerous.

You control a character, either human or mutant, and your goal is to survive the wasteland and uncover the source of a plague. You scavenge for weapons, armor, and supplies while fighting off monsters and hostile survivors. Combat is real-time, using melee weapons or ranged guns, and the day-night cycle affects enemy behavior, making nights particularly tense. The game is unforgiving; resources are scarce, and death comes quickly if you're careless. Moving through the desolate landscapes, managing your inventory, and cautiously engaging threats gives the whole experience a grim, immersive weight.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
