Battletoads on GBA is one of those games that feels chaotic in the best way. You start off punching and kicking through waves of enemies, but then suddenly you're racing down a tunnel dodging obstacles, or riding a hoverbike through a gauntlet of hazards. The controls take some getting used to, especially the timing for jumps and attacks.

What stands out is how unpredictable it gets. One minute you're brawling in a sewer, the next you're clinging to a rope while enemies swarm you. The difficulty spikes hard in later levels, but there's something satisfying about finally nailing a tough section after a dozen tries. Battletoads doesn't hold your hand, and that's part of its charm.

It's rough around the edges, but the sheer variety keeps it interesting. You'll either love it or rage-quit, no in-between.
