Alright, so the Dark Queen decided to mess with the wrong toads—she straight up kidnapped your buddy and the coolest girl around. Typical villain move. But you? You're a Battletoad. You don't just sit there. You grab whatever's nearby (blasters, hoverbikes, your own fists) and go wreck some bad guys.

The game throws you into 13 levels of pure chaos—some are classic side-scrolling brawls where you punch robots into scrap, others have you free-falling down tunnels dodging spikes while throwing kicks. Oh, and good luck with the speeder bike level—everyone remembers that one. Bosses pop up when you least expect them, and some stages even sneak in mini-bosses just to keep you on your toes. Fair warning: the NES version has way more levels than the Game Boy port, so if you're playing that, you're missing out.
