Battletoads Double Dragon is a weird but fun beat 'em up where you team up as the Battletoads and Billy & Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon. The first thing you notice is how stiff the controls feel compared to other NES brawlers—your jumps are floaty, and landing hits takes some getting used to.

Once you adjust, though, the mash-up of styles works better than expected. One minute you're punching lizard men, the next you're dodging laser turrets. The difficulty spikes hard in later levels, especially when the screen fills up with enemies that just won't stay down.
