Bio Menace 3, the final episode of the series, came out in 1993 as part of Apogee Software's MS-DOS catalog. You control Snake Logan, a special agent fighting through underground mutant lairs. Your main goal is to defeat the villain Master Cain by navigating maze-like levels, collecting keycards to open doors, and blasting a variety of grotesque enemies. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen exploration, where each new area loads with danger, and using an expanding arsenal that starts with a pistol and grows to include flamethrowers and explosive boomerangs.
