The combat’s totally different this time—no turn-based stuff, just real-time hacking and slashing while your AI teammates do their thing. You’ve got six shadows to mix and match, each changing how your party fights. I stuck with the wolf shadow early on because it made dodging feel smoother, but the dragon’s fire breath won me over later. The skill system’s neat too—you can cherry-pick abilities from any shadow you’ve leveled, so there’s some fun experimenting.

Neo Jibral’s your hub, packed with NPCs handing out quests that teleport you to dungeons or big boss fights. The gear crafting’s simple but satisfying—nothing like turning junk loot into a sword that actually makes a difference. Just don’t expect to chug potions mid-fight; this game makes you plan heals between battles like an old-school dungeon crawl.
