Game Overview

Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, published by Loriciels. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its simple, colorful visuals and straightforward premise. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it had its own peculiar charm that made it stand out in a crowded field.

You control a small, round character who bounces through a series of surreal levels filled with obstacles like spinning gears and bouncing mushrooms. The main goal is to navigate from the start to the exit of each stage, avoiding hazards and collecting items along the way. The physics are intentionally floaty and a bit unpredictable, which makes precise jumps a challenge to master. The pacing is methodical, requiring patience more than speed, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages. It feels strangely satisfying once you learn to work with its unique momentum and timing.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
