Game Overview

Chex Quest 2 is still one of the weirdest, most delightful things to come out of the '90s—a full-on Doom clone where you play as a cereal box hero blasting gelatinous aliens with a sci-fi zapper. The armor even looks like a Chex piece, which shouldn’t work but somehow does.

They took everything from the first game—the squishy sound effects, the surprisingly solid level design—and added more of it. New maps, tougher enemies, and co-op mode so you can drag a friend into this bizarre universe. It’s faster, louder, and even has a few surprises if you poke around corners.

Honestly, it’s impressive how much effort went into what was basically a cereal ad. The weapons feel punchy, the Flemoids explode into green goo, and the whole thing has this cheerful, Saturday-morning-cartoon energy. If you’ve got DOSBox handy, it’s worth the weird trip.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
