Game Overview

Clone Invader is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day, which is a shame because it takes the whole Space Invaders concept and cranks it up. You're still blasting rows of descending enemies, but these clones? They don't just move in predictable patterns—they'll start flanking you, speeding up, even faking you out if you're not careful. The first time one dodged my shot, I actually yelled at the screen.

The pixel art is pure late-'80s charm—simple but with just enough detail to make the clones feel weirdly expressive as they swarm down. And that soundtrack? Chiptune perfection. It starts chill but builds into this frantic pulse when the last few clones start diving at you. I lost more than one game because I got distracted by how good the music gets.

If you've got DOSBox installed, give it a shot. Just don't blame me when you realize two hours vanished trying to beat your high score.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
