Play Code Lyoko - Fall of X.A.N.A. (E)(EXiMiUS) Online

Switch between school life and digital battles in this DS adaptation—dodge X.A.N.A.'s attacks with Odd's arrows or crush them with Yumi's overpowered throws. The turn-based fights feel surprisingly tight for a licensed game.

Game Overview

If you grew up watching Code Lyoko, this DS game is basically a love letter to the show. You jump between the real world and Lyoko, fighting X.A.N.A.’s monsters in these weirdly satisfying turn-based battles—kind of like a stripped-down JRPG, but with more hacking and less grinding.

The overworld stuff feels a little clunky (it is a DS game from 2007), but the real fun kicks in when you’re on Lyoko. Each character has their own playstyle—Ulrich’s fast but weak, Odd’s ranged attacks are great for kiting enemies, and Yumi… well, she’s just OP. The story’s nothing groundbreaking if you know the show, but hearing the original voice actors again is a nice touch.

Honestly, it’s not the deepest game, but for fans, it’s a solid way to revisit the world. Just don’t expect a masterpiece.
