Play COLUMNS on Msdos Online

You twist falling gem stacks mid-air to match colors, and that satisfying *clink* when they vanish hooks you harder than it should. Simple at first, then suddenly you're sweating over diagonal matches as the speed kicks up.

Game Overview

COLUMNS on MS-DOS is one of those games that looks simple until you're three matches deep and suddenly sweating over a half-second rotation. Instead of Tetris blocks, you get these vertical stacks of gems—ruby reds, sapphire blues—that you can twist mid-fall to line up three in a row. Diagonal matches feel like cheating, but they totally count.

The sound design does most of the work here. There's this sharp little *clink* when gems disappear that's weirdly satisfying, like popping bubble wrap. Before you know it, you're hunched over your keyboard, muttering "just one more try" as the speed ramps up. It's aged better than most MS-DOS games—no clunky controls, just clean, frantic matching.

Perfect for when you want something deeper than Candy Crush but don't feel like learning a 40-step tutorial. Still holds up.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
