Game Overview

Columns is that old-school Sega Master System puzzle game that feels like Tetris but with gems instead of blocks. You’ve got these jeweled columns dropping down, and you gotta rotate and stack them to line up three of the same color—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Sounds simple, but once the speed picks up, it gets surprisingly tense.

I remember thinking the gem designs were kinda fancy for an 8-bit game—rubies, emeralds, and sapphires all sparkling away. The music’s got this weirdly hypnotic vibe too, like you’re in some ancient temple stacking treasures. It’s one of those games where you swear you’ll stop after one round, then suddenly an hour’s gone by.
