Download Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII (Japan) ROM – Sony PSP Game
You play as Zack, slashing through Shinra missions with a sword and materia while a weird slot machine randomly tosses buffs your way—Sephiroth’s still sane, Aerith’s still selling flowers, and everything’s about to go real bad.
Game Overview
If you ever wondered what Zack Fair was up to before Final Fantasy VII, this PSP prequel dives deep into his story—way before Cloud even mattered. You’re thrown into Shinra’s dirty secrets, running missions alongside familiar faces like Sephiroth (before he lost it) and Aerith (still selling flowers in the slums). The Turks pop up too, being their usual shady selves.
The combat’s a fast-paced mix of hacking away with your sword and slinging spells, but the weirdest part is that slot machine in the corner of the screen. Randomly, it’ll spin and give you buffs or special moves—kinda gimmicky at first, but you end up weirdly addicted to chasing those matching reels. And yeah, materia’s back, with all the mixing and matching you’d expect. Just don’t expect the same slow, tactical fights as the original—this one’s all about keeping things moving.
Most of it plays out in Nibelheim, which feels oddly cozy for a place with so many dark secrets. You’ll recognize spots from FFVII, just… less burned down. The whole thing’s a solid mix of nostalgia and new twists, especially if you’ve always wanted more Zack in your life.
