The controls are snappy once you get used to the keyboard layout (because let’s be real, no one had gamepads back then).

First time I played, I died like five times on the same spike trap because I kept mistiming the jumps. But there’s this weird magic to it—you’ll grumble, then immediately hit retry. The levels are short but packed with little secrets, like hidden warp zones or power-ups that turn Curt into a temporary fireball-chucking maniac.
