Game Overview

Dark Seed 2 came out in 1995 for MS-DOS, developed by Cyberdreams. It was part of that wave of point-and-click adventures that relied on mood and surreal storytelling, using digitized actors and pre-rendered backgrounds to build its unsettling atmosphere.

You control Mike Dawson, an artist accused of murder, navigating two parallel realities: a mundane town full of suspicious locals and a biomechanical nightmare realm inspired by H.R. Giger. The goal is to clear your name and survive the psychological horror unfolding around you. Gameplay involves screen-by-screen exploration, collecting items, and solving logic puzzles that often require switching between worlds to progress. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, with puzzles that can feel obscure or unintuitive. Playing it feels like untangling a grim, personal mystery where every interaction carries weight.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
